عانى النجديون طوال تاريخيهم مشقة السفر إلي الحج بسبب بعد المسافة وخطر الطريق ومشقتها ولكن باستمرار هذه الرحلة سنويا أظهر حرص النجديين على أداء مناسك الركن الخامس للإسلام ويبحث هذا الكتاب رحلة الحج النجدية خلال الفترة التي تلت دخول الملك عبد العزيز عام 1319هجري- 1902 حتى العام الذي تلا دخوله الحجاز عام 1344 هجري- 1926 يستعرض فيه الجزء الحضاري لهذه الرحلة من بدايتها وما يصاحبها من استعداد وتجهيز مسبق وحتى نهايتها عند عودتهم إلي أهاليهم حاملين معهم الهدايا التذكارية التي بندر وجودها في بلادهم.
