دراسة تحليلية تربط بين جماليات رسم الأطفال وبعض تيارات الفن الحداثي مثل التعبيرية، السريالية، التكعيبية، والتجريدية : الخصائص الفنية لرسوم الأطفال : الطابع التلقائي والعفوي، السرد الرمزي، التسطيح، والمبالغة ؛ هذه الميزات تستخدم كعناصر رئيسية في اللوحة الحداثية التأثير على فناني الحداثة : بعض الفنانين مثل بول كلي استلهموا هذه الخصائص مثل البساطة والتجريد، لبناء أسلوب زخرفي خرج عن التقليدي الاستفادة التصميمية : دراسات عديدة أظهرت إمكان استخدام رسوم الأطفال في تصميم المجوهرات، المنسوجات، الخزف، وغيرها، من خلال استخراج أنماط زخرفية فريدة وحيوية تنبض بالبراءة.
