كتاب \"معبد الدر\" من تأليف د. محمود ماهر طه هو دراسة أثرية متخصصة توثق وتحلل معبد الدر، أحد المعابد الصخرية المهمة في منطقة النوبة، والذي شيد في عهد الملك رمسيس الثاني. يتناول الكتاب الجوانب المعمارية والفنية والدينية للمعبد، ويبرز مكانته ضمن سلسلة المعابد التي أقيمت لتأكيد السيطرة المصرية على الجنوب. ويعتمد المؤلف على المعاينة الميدانية والتحليل النصي للنقوش، مع مقارنات علمية بمعابد أخرى مثل أبو سمبل وكلابشة، كما يناقش الوظيفة الطقسية للمعبد وتاريخه الإنشائي وحالته الراهنة بعد تهديدات الغمر نتيجة بناء السد العالي. ويعد الكتاب مرجعا علميا مهما في توثيق التراث النوبي، ويعكس اهتماما أكاديميا بالحفاظ على المعابد المصرية في الجنوب كجزء من الهوية الحضارية الوطنية.
