\"Biometrics has played a crucial role in the advancement of payment systems and identity authentication in recent decades (Liebana-Cabanillas et al., 2022). From its earliest applications, such as the use of fingerprints to identify individuals, to more recent advances in facial recognition and voice analysis, biometrics has become a fundamental tool in the protection and security of financial transactions (Hartoneva, 2020).
