هذا الكتاب إدارة الأزمات الدولية، موضوع جديد-من حيث البحث-من موضوعات العلاقات الدولية وهو لم يحظ حتي اليوم بالاهتمام الكافي على المستوى الأكاديمي في الوطن العربي. ورغم سلسلة الأزمات التى ألمت بالدول العربية منذ نهاية الحرب العالمية الثانية على الأقل وفى مقدمتها (أم الأزمات أزمة فلسطين) إلا أن الجهد الأكاديمي لم يتوجه نحو دراسة الأزمات الدولية وأصول إدارتها للمساعدة على الحد من آثارها الوخيمة. إن الدليل على هذا الشح الأكاديمي، هو ندرة المؤلفات التى تتناول موضوع إدارة الأزمات الدولية، وهذا الكتاب هو محاولة جادة لوضع دراسة علمية ومنهجية لهذا الموضوع الخطير.
