Overview
يتناول كتاب (يوميات تشارلز بيلجريف) والذي قام بتأليفه (تشارلز بيلجريف) ما لم ينشر من يوميات بلجريف، هذه بعض من مختاراته اليومية، والتي غطت الفترة من تاريخ وصوله إلى البحرين عام 1926 إلى وقت رحيله عام 1957. وفي حين أن المذكرات التي كتبها بيلجريف مكونة من بضعة آلاف من الصفحات، وقد غطت مرحلة أكثر شمولية وهي مابين 1915-1961، إلا أن المختارات التالية تؤرخ لأحداث فترة تواجده في البحرين، وما استطعنا الوصول إليه. وكانت نسخة من اليوميات المذكورة في حوزة مركز دراسات الشرق الأوسط بجامعة كامبردج البريطانية، ومن ثم تم نقلها إلى جامعة إكستر في منتصف التسعينات، من أجل المساعدة في إجراء بعض الدراسات.
