قد وضع الكتاب قواعد النجاح لمسارات الارتقاء لأي فريق عمل، مبتدئا برئيس الفريق، وأهميته، ودوره، والتزاماته، وعلاقاته، وصلاحياته، ثم بأعضاء الفريق، ودورهم، ومهام عملهم، وعلاقاتهم فيما بينهم، وما بينهم وبين رئيس الفريق، ثم عرج الكتاب على منظومة العمل التي يسير وفق آليتها فريق العمل، وكيف تؤسس؟ وعلى أي قواعد تبنى؟ وكيف تكون منهجيتها؟ لقد جاء الإسلام بأنظمة وتشريعات عظيمة للدفع تجاه العمل الجماعي المتكامل، وأسس بنائه، وهيأ الوسائل والمتطلبات اللازمة، ووضع المعالم البينة التي هي بمثابة مشاعل يهتدي بها العاملون في فريق عمل ناجح. غير أن الإسلام لم يترك الأمر على عواهنه، فيجعل الفريق أمام مفترقات متعددة ومتنوعة، تجعل الاختيار معجزا، والتطبيق مستحيلا، بل وضع الخطوط العريضة، ووضع أصولا للعمل من واقع ما يحتاج إليه الفرد.
