تناول الكتاب حيث أثارت الدورة النيابية البرلمانية الثالثة 2014-2018 الكثير من المعطيات في تشكيل الوزارة -البرلمان- رئاسة الجمهورية، كما شمل ذلك قبة البرلمان (مجلس النواب) ؛ إذ ولدت من رحمه جبهة الإصلاح التي أطاحت بهيئة رئاسة مجلس النواب وانتخبت النائب عدنان الجنابي رئيسا مؤقتا لها في جلسة المجلس يوم 14/4/2016. وسرعان ما انعقد المجلس في 26 ـ 4 ـ 2016 بهيئته المقالة ليتخذ قرارا بإلغاء قرار إقالة هيئة الرئاسة. في جانب آخر، تصاعدت الاحتجاجات الشعبية من التظاهر إلى الاعتصام فدخول المنطقة الخضراء، وترتب على ذلك اجتياح مجلس النواب ورئاسة مجلس الوزراء، وقد اتخذت جملة من الإصلاحات شملت إقالة نواب رئيس مجلس الوزراء ونواب رئيس الجمهورية وتقليص الوزرات وإقالة عدد من الوزراء.
