أن هذا الكتاب هو الجزء الأول لترجمة الرؤساء والوزراء بعد أن اكتمل تراجم حياتهم وسوف يصدر الجزء الثاني بعد توافر تراجم الباقين منهم ولكثرة عددهم فقسم منهم أنتقل إلى الدار الآخرة والقسم الآخر يعيش خارج العراق ولكي لا أنسى أحدا جعلت الكتاب بجزئيين. كتبت الحقيقة عن كل واحد منهم دون انحياز لشخص ما كل حسب موقعه في الدولة وتحصيله العلمي والنشاطات التي قام بها وقدمها فنجد خمس صفحات لأحد الوزراء وصفحة واحدة للآخر، حاولت أن أجمع كل المعلومات عن الشخص المترجم له في المصادر المتاحة لي ما استطعت إلى ذلك سبيلا فسرت على خطى السالفين ( الورد، والمطبعي وميربصري ) وغيرهم في البحث في شؤون الرجال.
