اهتم كتاب مدخل إلى \"مسار الكون والتكوين\" للقرآن الكريم. بعرض القصص القرآنية. وقد اعتماد الدكتور الجابري ترتيب النزول، وليس ترتيب المصحف، في تتبع قصص القرآن، قد مكنه من إبراز وظيفة هذا القصص كوسيلة وسلاح للدعوة المحمدية في مواجهة خصومها، إبراز التساوق بين السيرة النبوية وتطور مسار الكون والتكوين الخاص بالقرآن، وهل يمكن فصل الدعوة المحمدية عن السياسة والتاريخ ؟ وهل يمكن الفصل في القرآن بين الدين والدنيا ؟ ثم هل يمكن إصلاح حاضرنا من دون إصلاح فهمنا لماضينا ؟ أسئلة تستعيد لديه المنهج، الرؤية الذي تبناه منذ \"نحن والتراث\"والذي يتلخص في جملة واحدة : جعل المقروء معاصرا لنفسه ومعاصرا لنا في الوقت ذاته.
