لقد أصبح منحنى التطور التكنولوجي والرقمي في وسائل االعالم يتمركز حول مختلف البرامج التي تثير األطفال وعلى األخص في المراحل األولى من حياتهم ومن ناحية أخرى يقوم التلفزيون بدور فعال في نقل الكثير من المعلومات واألفكار لألطفال وخاصة التي ال يقابلونها بسهولة في حياتهم اليومية كما إن التلفزيون يجمع بين الصوت والصورة مما يزيد من قوة تأثيره حيث أصبح للطفل عالقة قوية بالتلفزيون نظرا لفاعليته في حياته خاصة االجهزة المحمولة التي يقبل على استخدامها الكثير والعديد من األطفال وذلك بسبب توفر اإلمكانيات المتاحة لمشاهدتها وتوفر االنترنت والتلفزيون في كل البيوت ومدة عرضها للبرامج طيلة اليوم مما يجعل الطفل أكثر صلة وتعلق بينه وبين هذه القنوات التي تشبع حاجاته ورغباته لما تقدمه من براج يجدها الطفل متناسبة وقدراته.
