أشار الدكتور علي الصلابي في كتابه هذا إلى ملامح العدل وأبرز سماته، كالوسطية والخيرية والحكمة والاستقامة والبينية وأوضح ذلك في دليل تطبيقي لملامح العدل وتحدث عن مكانة العدل في القرآن الكريم وقام بدراسة موضوعية للآيات الكريمة التي أمرت وحثت وبينت أهمية العدل في الحياة وبين خطورة الظلم وتحذير القرآن منه. فإذا فشل النظام السياسي في تحقيق العدل فقد بهذا شرعية وجوده وشرعية حكمه للأمة الإسلامية.
