يقوم الباحث الإيطالي د. إيروس بلديسيرا بجهود خاصة ومتميزة في مجال التواصل الحضاري بين الثقافتين الإيطالية والعربية، وتأنحذ هذه الجهود أشكالا متعددة، فهو مدرس في قسم اللغة العربية في جامعة فينيسيا (البندقية) الذي تأسس في عالم 1962، وقد تناولت بحوثه موضوعات تاريخية وموضوعات وشخصيات من الأدب العربي، قديمه وجديده، وأصدر قاموسا مزدوجا ومكثفا للغتين العربية والإيطالية يضم إلى جانب معاني الكلمات قسما للنحو والصرف وآخر للعبارات والجمل، وهو قاموس عملي، يفيد الباحث والطالب على السواء، وهو بذلك يعيد إلى الذاكرة صورا قديمة من المرحلة التي كانت فيها فينيسيا جمهورية تشكل بوابة أوروبا في التواصل الثقافي والتجاري مع العرب والعالم.
