يتناول الكتاب حيث قال الإمام الشافعي -رحمه الله- عن اللغة الواحدة: \"لا يحيط باللغة إلا نبي\"، يعني إلا رجل يوحي إليه، حيث أن اللغة العربية انتشرت في الجزيرة العربية في فترة نزول الوحي، باستطاعتنا القول أنه يمكن الإحاطة باللغة من جميع جوانبها، وهل يمكن إثبات أن حرف الضاد انفردت به اللغة العربية أم لا؟ يتضمن هذا الكتاب دراسة مهمة في علم القراءات وقواعد ، قرأ بها النبي صلى الله عليه التجويد ذلك أن \"التجويد جزء من علم القراءات؛ وأن القراءات القرآنية المتواترة جميعاً وسلم.. وقد تلقاها عنه صلى الله عليه وسلم خيار أصحابه من بعده وأقرؤوا بها الناس، وبذلك فإن سائر القرارات المتواترة.
