الكتاب رواية تحكي عن زيارة فلسطين تحققت للكاتب في 2013 م، فمحور رحلته للديار المقدسة في كتابه الطريق 60، سرد لنا تفاصيل الزيارة بدأ من الأردن ووصولا إلى رام الله والخليل ومعظم مدن فلسطين وحتى وصلوا إلى مبتغاهم وجل سفرهم ألا وهو القدس الشريف. نقل لنا الكاتب معاناة الفلسطيني مع الاحتلال الصهيوني وكفاحه وجهاده فداء لتراب فلسطين، سرد لنا معاناة الأسرى واحتكار الجندي للمواطن وعمليات القمع والحرمان وكل الوسائل التي يمارسها الصهيوني ضد الفلسطيني المجاهد. ورغم كل هذا يواصل الفلسطيني معيشته، مكافحا كل الوجوه الإسرائيلية، يمضي مبتسما، يعمل فرحا، لعله يخفف من ألم الاحتلال. وختم لنا الكتاب رحلته بسرد جمال القدس والمسجد الأقصى الشريف وما صاحبه من معالم دينية يفتخر بها الفلسطيني ويدافع عنها بماله ودمه.
