الكتاب عبارة عن صور قلمية وذكريات عزيزة عن شخصيات راحلة شاءت الأقدار أن التقيها في دروب الحياة المتشعبة، فرأيت فيها من المزايا الجميلة والصفات الحسنة ما حببها إلى نفسي، فبقيت صورها محفورة على لوح ذاكرتي على مر السنين وتعاقب الحوادث وطوارق الزمن، وكم حدثت الآخرين عنها كلما جاءت المناسبة ورأيت سببا لذلك، ورغبت في تدوين ما رسخ من ذكرياتي عنها ونشره في الصحافة الورقية والالكترونية لما لذلك من أهمية عندي، وقد فعلت ذلك، ثم رأيت جمعها وإصدارها في كتاب، فكان هذا هو القسم الأول منها، وستتبعه أقسام لاحقة في المستقبل القريب إن شاء الله تعالى عن شخصيات راحلة أخرى لم يكتمل تدوين ذكرياتي معها بعد.
