يعد كتاب \"الهداية في المنطق\" من أهم الكتب في علم المنطق على طريقة المتقدمين للشيخ الرئيس أبي علي ابن سينا وقد أودعه لباب ما تحقق من الأصول في العلوم الفلسفية المنسوبة إلى الأقدمين حكماء اليونان المبنية على النظر المرتب المحقق والأصول المستنبطة بالأفهام المتعاونة على إدراك الحق المجتهد فيه زمانا طويلا حتى استقام آخره على جملة اتفقت عليها أكثر الآراء لما أشار إلى الشبهات واستبدلها بإيضاح الحقيقة بإضافة إلى أنه أورد لفروع مع الأصول كما اجتهد في إختصار الألفاظ ومجانبة التكرار أصلا.
