دخل الحاسوب في معظم مفاصل حياتنا المعاصرة، ولم تكن التربية بمنأى عن ذلك، ولذلك يجيء هذا الكتاب متناولا المعلم في عصر الإنترنت والقياس والتقويم مع التوقف عند استراتيجية التقويم وأدواته وتطبيقاتهما. ومن ثم ينتقل بنا عبر رحلة تمتد خلال فصول الكتاب التي تعرض فيما تعرض للاختبارات وبنائها التحصيلي، إضافة إلى توظيف الحاسوب في عملية التقويم. وكتطبيق عملي يتم تحليل الاختبارات باستخدام برنامج إكسل (Excel) وتوظيفه في رسم الاقترانات وتطبيقه في الرسم، إضافة إلى التقويم باستخدام الخارطة المفاهيمية، وتقويم الاتجاهات العلمية. وقد خصصت فصول الكتاب الأخيرة لتوظيف برنامج (SPSS) في الغرفة الصفية وتطبيقاته العملية، وكذلك تحليل النتائج باستخدام هذا البرنامج، ليتم التوقف في النهاية عند ملفات الإنجاز الإلكترونية.
