تسعى هذه الدراسة إلى بيان ماهية المنهج البياني ووظيفته وإرشاداته الدلالية والتفسيرية عند المفسرين والبلاغيين المحدثين، وتحاول أن تطرح رؤية تفسيرية شاملة للنص القرآني، آخذة بالحسبان الجانب اللغوي والبلاغي من جمالية الخطاب القرآني. فهي محاولة جادة وسعي حثيث إلى إبراز معالم المنهج البياني وضوابطه من خلال التعريف به وبإعلامه ومؤسسيه، وطرق التوصل إليهن وسبل استخراج قواعده. وقد اعتمدت الدراسة المنهج التحليلي مؤصلا ومطبقا لأنموذجات من تفاسير أصحابها، وكان الجانب التطبيقي الحيز الأكبر من البحث، فسعت إلى دراسة المنهج البياني في تفسير القرآن الكريم لإستخلاص رؤية جامعة لهذا الموضوع المهم والخطير في الوقت نفسه.
