يوضح الكتاب إن النحو قانون كلام العرب والأوجه النحوية للتعبير الواحد ليست ذات دلالة معنوية واحدة، وإنما لكل وجه دلالته بدليل القرائن اللفظية والمعنوية وكل إختيار أو عدول من وجه إلى آخر، وكل خروج من حد إلى آخر، يترتبعليه عدول من معنى إلى آخر ولكل صيغة دلالة تختلف عن غيرها وإن التقت معها في الأصل، لإختلاف المدلول الأصلي بالإستعمال وإختيار المتكلم، فنخرج من حد وضع لها أصلا إلى غيره، لأن اللفظة تنصهر في السياق، ليضفي عليها معنى زائدا على معناها الوضعي أو ينقلها إلى غيره بمعونة القرائن.
