هو عمل يتضمن تحقيقا لكتاب تراثي وضعه أبو جعفر محمد الكسائي ودراسة حول بنية المتخيل في الثقافة العربية والإسلامية، حيث يعود الكواز إلى عملية أسطرة وقائع وأحداث وشخصيات، وتحول كل ذلك إلى مجموعة متجانسة من البديهيات واليقينيات المتداولة اجتماعيا، كما يبين استمرار بعضها في أوساط اجتماعية عربية معاصرة ومن هنا يؤكد على ضرورة تفكيكها في نصوصها الأصلية.
