يحتوي هذا الكتاب على فعاليات الدورة السابعة التي نظمتها المؤسسة بالتعاون مع مركز الاسكندرية للتحكيم والخدمات القانونية والاقتصادية بكلية الحقوق - جامعة الاسكندرية، تحت عنوان \"مقاصد الشريعة والاتفاقيّات الدولية\". وتستهدف هذه الدراسة الشاملة التعامل مع المشكلات المعاصرة في الدائرتين الإقليمية والعالمية، والنظر فيهما في ضوء مقاصد الشريعة الإسلامية، مستهدفة تفعيل المنهج المقاصدي في مواقف الدول والشعوب، كون الميزان المقاصدي هو الأنسب والأرحب في صياغة موقف فقهي إسلامي من كل هذه الاتفاقيات الدولية. تناولت الدراسات آثار الاتفاقيات الدولية والمعاهدات ذات الطابع الاجتماعي، وخطورتها، وأقسام حقوق الإنسان ومصادرها في الشريعة وفي المواثيق الدولية. وناقشت بنود اتفاقية التجارة العالمية، ومجال عمل المحكمة الجنائية الدولية وقدمت انتقادات لها من منظور مقاصد الشريعة. كما عرضت لمكانة الشريعة الإسلامية في النظام القانوني الدولي. واستعرضت معاهدة عدم انتشار الأسلحة النووية من منظور حفظ النفس والمال.
