إن الهدف من هذه الدراسة هو الإهتمام بمستقبل الإنسانية جمعاء، من خلال دراسة موضوعية تتناول أهم أديان العالم كما هي في نظر أتباعها، للوصول إلى فهم أعمق للدين ودوره في التقارب الحضاري والسلام العالمي، وأيضا للتأكيد على حوار أديان عالمي نظرا للتعددية الدينية، وإيجاد الدعوة الصريحة إلى الوحدانية الخالصة التي جاء بها الأنبياء والرسل، والتي أظهر علم الآثار أن الظاهرة الدينية كانت موجودة دائما في التأريخ الرأسمالي، والبحث عن أهمية الدين، والحاجة إلى الشرع الإلهي في الحياة الإنسانية، بالإضافة إلى القيم والأخلاق والحاجة إلى تحديدهما في حياة الناس.
