يتحدث هذا الكتاب عن تاريخ كرد تركيا وحياتهم ولهجتهم ومذاهبهم الاسلامية ووضعهم الاقتصادي وعلاقتهم بالدولة التركية منذ تأسيسها وحتى الان وعن تاسيس حزب العمال الكردستاني الى أخر مؤتمر عقدوه كما يحتوي على أولى المعارك بين قواتهم العسكرية والجيش التركي وتنقلات الحزب من جبال قنديل إلى سوريا وبعدها الى لبنان ثم العودة لجبال قنديل ويتحدث عن حصول المفاوضات الرسمية برعاية الامم المتحدة بين الحكومة التركية وحزب العمال الكردستاني وهي الاولى من نوعها وابتدأت من عام 2008 إلى 2011.
