Overview
تناول الكتاب أنه ليس غرضنا في هذا الكتاب بسط وعرض نظريات في السياسات اللغوية، أو تحليل ما أصبح يعرف بنظريات العدل اللغوي ، ونظريات العدل بما هو إعتراف على وجه التحديد، أساسيا في نظريات العدل التوزيعي المعاصر عموما التي تشكل جزءا وإنما مناقشة تجربة السياسة اللغوية التي عرفتها الجزائر منذ تحررها من الإستعمار الفرنسي في العام 1962 إلى يومنا هذا، وكذلك حالة وضعية اللغة العربية في زمن العولمة. وعليه، فإنه لم يكن يعنينا الإنتصار للرأي القائل بالسلطة المطلقة، ولا للرأي القائل بأن اللغة ليست إلا وسيلة تفعل بها ما نشاء، وإنما حاولنا أن نتفحص المسائل من قريب، وأن نستخرج ما اعتقدنا أنه موافق للمعطيات والأدلة والحقائق العلمية.
