صحفي ألكسندر كريفيتسكي مراسل حربي لجريدة \"كراسنايا زفيزدا\" (النجم الأحمر). وهو أول من تحدث في عام 1941 على صفحات جريدته عن مأثرة ال 28 محاربا من فرقة الجنرال بانفيلوف الذين كانوا يدافعون عن طريق فولوكولامسك العام عند مشارف موسكو. وقد حظي هذا \"الأوتشراك\" بشهرة وطبع عدة مرات بطبعات مستقلة وألكسندر كريفيتسكي مؤلف كتب شعبية عن أحداث الحرب الوطنية العظمى : \"الليل والفجر\"، \"لن أنسى إلى الأبد\" وغيرهما. هناك شيء مشترك في هذه الأعمال التي تؤلف المجموعة وهو أن مؤلفيها وجدوا أبطالهم من صميم الحياة وكل ما عاشوه كأنما عاشوه بصورة مشتركة ولن تجد في أي مكان تأملا فارغا ولكن لم ذاك ؟ لأن كل إنسان سوفييتي التقى بفكرة ممارسة صداقة الشعوب السوفييتية لقاء عيان وكان في استطاعته أن يتحدث عن هذه الظاهرة العظيمة للحياة الاشتراكية بشيء يخصه وقريب إليه.
