يتحدث الكتاب عن طرق إعادة المعاينة وهي إحدى الطرق اللامعلمية لدراسة الإحصاءات المختلفة في ظل عدم معلومية التوزيع الإحتمالي للإحصاء محل الدراسة وتهدف طرق إعادة المعاينة إلي أحد أمرين الأمر الأول يهدف إلي تكوين الاستدلالات الإحصائية غير المعلمية حول معلومات النموذج محل الدراسة والأمر الثاني يهدف إلى تصحيح التحيز المقدر للقيم المقدرة لهذه المعالم وذلك عن طريق تقدير توزيع المعاينة للتقديرات الخاصة للإحصاءات المختلفة محل الدراسة.
