ولعل أهمية صدوره في هذا الوقت بالذات ستعلل بحثه الحصيف في ظل ما يجري من وقائع الحرب على سورية، العناوين الثقافية والسياسية ودالاتها ارتباطا بالزمن ومعطياته، إذ يذهب الكاتب إلى نظرية المعرفة مجددا لاسيما في محمولها الثقافي والسياسي بآن، ويتساءل في كلمة له مصدرا بها كتابه بالقول : سورية هل تعلمون الجذر الحقيقي لهذه التسمية، أصل تسميتها وانبعاثها ؟.. سورية تعني : (الربة الكبرى) أو (الآلهة العظمى) في اللغات القديمة، واليوم تجتمع أبالسة الأرض وشياطينها كي تنال من الربة العظمى، ولكن هيهات هيهات أن ينال الشيطان من الرحمن.
