يتحدث الكتاب عن (رحالة عمان : مسقط إلى أفريقيا) عبر مدن مختلفة وهي أبوظبي، جدة، السودان، أثيوبيا، كينيا، أوغندا، رواندا، بروندي وتنزانيا. اشتمل الكتاب على كلمة للمؤلف وسبعة فصول. جاء المؤلف الفصل الأول بعنوان (الفكرة الحلم) وتحدث في الفصل الثاني السودان وفي الفصل الثالث كتب المؤلف عن أرض الأحباش، فمي خصص الفصل الرابع للبقاع الكينية والفصل الخامس لأوغندا وكتب في الفصل السادس عن رواندا، أما الفصل السابع فخصصه لتنزانيا.
