تناول الكتاب حيث ذكر رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم في أكثر من حديث له رجاءه وبشراه لعدد من الصحابة-رضوان الله عليهم-بالجنة...، ولكنه في هذا الحديث الجامع الذي رواه \"عبد الرحمن بن عوف\"-رضي الله عنه-قد بشر جمعاً بلغ العشرة، وهذا ما تواترت روايته ولقد آثرت أن أترجم لهم في كتاب واحد، مبيناً لكل منهم من سبق وفضل وجهاد، ومكانة صدرته عن جدارة لهذه البشرى. وإن لكل واحد منهم مقامه المرموق وقربة من النبي الأكرم صلى الله عليه وسلم، ويده الباذلة المعطاء في سبيل الله.
