كتاب الاقتصاد النقدي، يصلح للعديد من المستويات، نظراً لأنه يجمع مادة نظرية عريضة مطروحة بطريقة منهجية، إضافة إلى تقديمه أعمال تجريبية غنية ومعاصرة، وهو بذلك يكون ذو فائدة ككتاب للدرس الجامعي، خاصة على مستوى الدراسات المتقدمة، من هنا فأننا ننصح أن لا تخلو مكتبة أي باحث علمي يفضل الاطلاع على مرجع باللغة العربية في حقل الاقتصاد النقدي عن مثل هذا المصدر، خاصة أن جل مصادره المذكورة في نهايته هي باللغة الإنكليزية، هذا فضلاً عن كونه مفيد للمختصين من خارج الحقل الأكاديمي، فهو يقدم مادة ثرية ومتنوعة، زيادة على أهميته لصناع القرار في السلطتين النقدية والمالية، خاصة أنه يعرض المادة العلمية بالمزيد من الأمثلة والتجارب الواقعية، والتعريج دائماً على الحالة العراقية.
