تناولت هذه الدراسة علما من أعلام الأدب والفكر في الأردن، وهدفت إلى إبراز صوت الأديب الشاعر سليمان إبراهيم المشيني. وعلى الرغم من غزارة إنتاجه، وتنوع مواهبه الأدبية والفكرية إلا أنه لم يحظ باهتمام الباحثين، لولا تلك الإشارات التي تمكن الباحث من رصدها عن الأساتذة : سمير قطامي، وخالد الكركي، ومحمد عطيات ومحمد أبو صوفة. في حين تناول الدارسون أبناء جيله من المبدعين أمثال : حسني فريز وعيسى الناعوري وعبد المنعم الرفاعي، وروكس بن زائد العزيزي ... وغيرهم وذلك بصورة شاملة، ونظرا لعدم وجود دراسة متكاملة حول الأستاذ سليمان المشيني، فقد ندبت نفسي لهذا العمل.
