هذا كتاب منهجي في مادة الأديان حاولنا فيه أن نجمع فيه كل من المطلوب في الدراسات الأولية والدراسات العليا في جميع كليات الوطن العربي التي تدرس هذه المادة، مستعرضين الديانات كما هي عند أصحابها ثم نكتب الرد القرآني أو الإسلامي على الموضوع، إذ أن جميع الأديان السماوية (غير الإسلام) قد حرفت ولم يبق فيها شيء يمكن أن نعتبر الإسلام امتدادا طبيعيا لها .. إلا إننا نحس من خلال دراستنا لتلك الأديان أن مصدر الأديان كما يعتبره الجميع \"واحد\" وهو الله تعالى وأن اختلفت نظرة الأديان إلى هذا المصدر كما سنرى ذلك من خلال دراستنا لهذه الأديان. أما الأديان الوضعية فبعضها ربما كان بقايا دين سماوي لان الله تعالى يقول \"وما من أمة إلا خلا فيها نذير\"، وأما أفكار موضوعه جعلت من تلك الأفكار دينا يعتقد فيها أتباعها ويجعلون لمعبوداتهم طرقا معينة للوصول إليها.
