يتناول الكتاب (تجليات الحب والحرب، دراسات في شعر بشرى البستاني)، والذي قام بتأليفه (سعد جرجيس سعيد) في حوالي (156 صفحة) من القطع المتوسط موضوع (الحرب في الشعر العربي) وشرح ظاهرتي الحب والحرب، اللتين تعدان أبرز البنى الموضوعية في شعر البستاني، التي عبرت عن ضمير المرأة العراقية وهي تتلقى حربا لا هوادة فيها ويعد هذا الكتاب إضافة جديدة إلى مؤلفات أخرى للدكتور سعد جرجيس، إذ صدر له من قبل كتاب : (الليل في القرآن الكريم، دراسة جمالية) ومجموعة شعرية بعنوان : (قراءة أخرى لدرب الحبيبة)، فضلا عن كتب أخرى بالاشتراك، وكتب أخرى ما زالت بين يدي المطابع.
