يشتمل كتاب الشاعر عز الدين المناصرة على أربع دراسات ميدانية أصيلة هي محاولة لتحديد الأصل التراثي للنمط الغنائي الشعري\" الجفرا\" وهو عبارة عن نصوص شعرية نادرة من الثلاثينيات والأربعينيات في القرن العشرين وشعرية العنب الخليلي وهي دراسة ميدانية لتقاليد جني محصول العنب في بلدة بني نعيم الخليلية \"عيد العنب\" ووصف عرس فلسطيني في بلدة بني نعيم الخليلية\" في الستينيات وكما يشتمل الكتاب على ملحق وهو عبارة عن مناقشة لقضية \"كتاب الانطاء الشريف\".
