Overview
اشتمل هذا الكتاب على عدة فصول حيث تناول المؤلف في الفصل الأول مقدمة عامة عن علم الفلك شملت على التطور التاريخي لهذا العلم، ومساهمة الحضارات المختلفة فيه إضافة إلى نظرة عامة عن القبة السماوية ونظام الإحداثيات فيها ووحدات القياس الفلكية، بينما تناول الفصل الثاني المجموعة الشمسية وكواكبها المختلفة ونبذة مختصرة عن المذنبات والنيازك، أما الفصل الثالث يبحث في القمر والحسابات الفلكية العلمية والرؤية الشرعية والتقويم الهجري إضافة إلى الكسوف والخسوف، أما الفصل الرابع فقد تضمن إرتباط مواقيت الصلاة بالظواهر الفلكية وكيفية حسابها بالطرق العلمية الفلكية، إضافة إلى كيفية تحديد إتجاه القبلة بالطرق العلمية الفلكية الدقيقة.
