Overview
تناول الكتاب أنه خلال القرن التاسع عشر تعرضت البلاد إلى غزو روسي وإنكليزي بحجج مختلفة، منها الحدود ومنها ما يتعلق بحصة المستعمر الإنكليزي في شبه القارة الهندية، وكانت الضريبة على الدوام يتحملها المواطن الأفغاني البسيط. وفي عام 1979 قرر الروس غزو أفغانستان وكان لهذا الغزو تبعات جسيمة على الروس وسارعت فيما بعد في انهيار الإتحاد السوفييتي المتهالك انذاك ثم عاود الأمريكيون إحتلال افغانستان بعد أحداث 9/11 بحجة مكافحة الإرهاب والقضاء على أسامة بن لادن بعد أن امتنعت حركة طالبان تسليم بن لادن للعدالة الأمريكية.
