Overview
المراجعة أحد العلوم الاجتماعية التي ترتبط بالكثير من الروابط والعلاقات مع أحد العلوم الاجتماعية الأخرى وهو : المحاسبة. وعلى الرغم من الروابط والصلات الكثيرة بين المحاسبة والمراجعة، إلا أنه ينبغي أن يكون واضحا أن كليهما علم مستقل له مبادؤه العلمية الخاصة به كما أن لكل منهما كل مقومات العلوم من : هدف، ومجال، فالمحاسبة-كما هو معروف-علم وأسلوب منهجي، فضلا عن أن هناك إختلافات أخرى بينهما أيضا إنشائي بينما المراجعة علم تحليلي، إذ أن المحاسب يبدأ عملا فنيا من أوله إلى نهايته-كالتسجيل في الدفاتر والتبويب والتخليص وعرض النتائج وتفسيرها.
