تكلم المشرع الأردني عن الجرائم التي تقع على الأموال في الباب الحادي عشر من الكتاب الثاني من قانون العقوبات وهو القانون رقم (16) لسنة 1960 وذلك في الفصول من 1-7. ونتناول بالشرح التفصيلي في هذا الكتاب أكثر الجرائم وقوعاً في العمل مراعين في الوقت ذاته ما طرأ من تعديلات بالنسبة لبعض هذه الجرائم وهي السرقات والاحتيال وإساءة الائتمان والشيك دون رصيد والتعديلات الأخرى ذات العلاقة، حسب ما ورد في قانون العقوبات المعدل رقم 8 لسنة 2011. وسيكون ذلك في ثلاث أبواب يتبعها فصل خاص وذلك على النحو التالي : الباب الأول : عن جرائم السرقة في صورها المتعددة. الباب الثاني: عن الاحتيال والجرائم الملحقة به (جريمة استغلال احتياج القاصر أو عديم الأهلية وجريمة الشيك دون رصيد في صورها الخمسة). الباب الثالث : عن جريمة إساءة الائتمان وما يلحق بها. أما الفصل الخاص فسوف يكون عن الأحكام الشاملة لهذه الجرائم.
