Overview
تعرضت الصحافة خلال العقود الماضية إلى ضغوطات كبيرة من داخل المؤسسات الصحافية، ومن خارجها. وتحديدا تواجه الصحافة منذ السنوات الأخيرة من نهاية القرن العشرين تحديات صعبة من المنافسة مع الوسائل الجماهيرية الأخرى، وخاصة ظهور وانتشار الإنترنت في العالم. كما تواجه الصحافة التقليدية تحديات من المدارس الحديثة في الصحافة، أثرت على مضمون وشكل الصحافة التقليدية، مما استدعى إعادة هيكلة وبناء وتفكير ف النمط التقليدي للصحافة التي تآلف معها القراء على مر العقود السابقة. وبناء على هذه المعطيات، تحاول هذه الدراسة التعرف على الاتجاهات الحديثة في الصحافة العالمية من مختلف جوانب العمل المهني للصحافة.
