تتناول رواية (الطريق الواسع : رواية) والتي قامت بتأليفها رنين طارق أبو فخر في حوالي (92) صفحة من القطع المتوسط موضوع (رواية) الرواية جعلتنا الكاتبة نسافر فيها مع أبطال قصتها إلى ألمانيا، ونعيش معهم تفاصيل أيامهم بعد أن غادروا الشام وبقيت أرواحهم معلقة بشوارعها ويسامينها، حيث تدور أحداث الرواية في المستقبل القريب في شباط برلين البارد من عام 2021 م، من خلال أحمد الشاب السوري الذي سافر إلى ألمانيا كلجوء طلابي في ظل الأزمة السورية، ليلتقي بحبيبته السابقة (زين) في إحدى محطات القطار في برلين، والتي تعمل كرسامة أتت مع زوجها الطبيب إلى ألمانيا، فهل كان لهذا اللقاء وقع في حياة زين ؟، لتقرر من بعدها ... إما أن تكون أسيرة زواجها البارد !..، أو أن تعيد مع أحمد ذكريات الماضي التي تركتها في دمشق !...
