تناولت هذه الدراسة وصفا لمواقع التواصل الاجتماعي من حيث مراحلها , وأشكالها، ومحتوياتها ,وذكرت أيضا إيجابياتها وسلبياتها، وكيف يمكن الاستفادة منها، وآثارها على المجتمع كما أنها احتوت على ستة فصول مرتبة حسب خطوات البحث العلمي وأوصى الباحث في رسالته إلى تحديث مناهج التعليم في المراحل الأساسية في مادة التكنولوجيا وإشراك الشباب في السياسات التعليمية، وتفعيل منتديات الشباب الإلكتروني بما يخدم رفع الوعي لديهم، وعمل دورات وورشات عمل لرفع وعي الشباب بأهمية شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي في حياتنا العلمية والعملية.
