تم في هذا الكتاب سرد بعض تفاصيل الحياة المصرية ما تم رصده من غريب الطباع وعجيب التصرفات وذلك من وجهة نظر الكاتب كإنسان زائر جديد على هذه البيئة والتقاليد لقد تم سرد هذه الأَيام من تحت المجهر أو ضمن ما وقعت عليه عدسة عين الكاتب على شكل فصول متفرعة وكل فصل متعلق بقضية معينة من وجهة نظر الكاتب على أنها غريبة كون تفاصيل المجتمع الفلسطيني مختلفة عن تفاصيل المجتمع المصري، وقد تم التطرق إلى الإيجابيات والسلبيات إن وجدت بغض النظر عن وجهة نظر الشارع المصري في مدى إيجابيتها أو سلبيتها، تم كتابة هذه الأجزاء والانتهاء منها قبل ثورة 25 يناير، وقد تم الاحتفاظ بما تم تدوينه قبل الثورة دون أي تعديل حتى يتم رصد المجتمع والحياة المصرية لفترة ما قبل الثورة.
