يقدم الكاتب يقدم في هذا الكتاب طائفة من هذه النصوص في الجزء الأول ويقوم بدراستها بالتفصيل في الجزء الثاني والتي هي جميعها من وضع شراح أرسطو من بين اليونان والعرب (ابن سينا) ولهذه الشروح والدراسات أهميتها لأن أصولها اليونانية مفقودة ولم يبق سوى هذه الترجمات العربية لها أو ما سيقام عليها من ترجمات إلى لغات أخرى مثل العبرية واللاتينية والذي من شأنه أن يزيد في أهمية البحث في التراث العربي بوصفه مزدوجا للفكر العربي والفكر اليوناني معا.
