حاول الباحث في هذه الدراسة بحث كل ما يتعلق بحقوق الإنسان في الإسلام، سواء في زمن السلم أو في زمن الحرب، وأفرد الباحث لحقوق الطفل وحقوق المرأة فصلين مستقلين للأهمية، فتم تقسيم هذه الدراسة إلى أربعة فصول، بالإضافة إلى الفصل التمهيدي التي بين فيه الباحث مشكلة الدراسة وأهدافها والمنهج المتبع والدراسات السابقة. وكان من أهداف هذه الدراسة الوصول إلى تصور كامل عن الحقوق التي أقرها الإسلام للإنسان في كرامته وإنسانيته وجسمه، فالإسلام اهتم بالإنسان أيما اهتمام، وكرمه غاية التكريم، ورفع شأنه فوق كل المخلوقات.
