جاء هذا الكتاب بأسلوب مبسط بقدر الإمكان بهدف تعريف القارئ (الباحث) على بعض الطرق الإحصائية وكيفية استخدامها وتفسير نتائجها دون الخوض في التفصيلات الرياضية والنظريات التي تقوم عليها لان هذا ليس مجالنا ويتضح ذلك في جميع الفصول ويتلخص فيما يلي (توضيح المفاهيم والتعريف بالرموز للمعادلات الإحصائية والاستخدام المناسب لها لتسهل الفهم للقارئ) حيث يمتاز الكتاب بسهولة قراءته وكثرة الأمثلة وتفسيرها ووضع تمارين متنوعة لموضوعات الكتاب في نهاية فصوله بغرض التقييم الذاتي ولتساعد على تثبيت ما يتعلمه القارئ من قواعد وقوانين تتعلق بالأساليب الإحصائية للبيانات.
