هذا الكتاب من تأليف صحفيين فرنسيين هما : كلود جيبال، تانجي سالون ؛ (مستعینا بنماذج حیة من المصريین من كل الأعمار. والطبقات الاجتماعیة والأطیاف السیاسیة ؛ يرسم الكتاب صورة شديدة الواقعیة لأحوال الناس : آرائھم، آمالھم، مآسیھم. يسترعى إنتباھنا أن روح الثورة قد تلبست أسلوب الكتاب وحتى طريقة إخراجه. فلم يلجأ الكاتبان إلى المعھود في إخراج الكتب من حیث التبويب وخلافه. فخرج في تسعة موضوعات يمتد بینھا خط الأحداث بحیث لا تنفصل عن بعضھا. وكذلك جاء الأسلوب الصحفي في الكتابة ثوريا : عبارات قصیرة، سريعة، ملتھبة، كأنھا شعارات ثورية. يحمل الكثیر من علامات الاستفھام والتعجب تاركا للقارئ أن يبدى رأيه فیما يقرأ. من المبكر جدا بكل تأكید التنبؤ بما سوف تصیر إلیه ثورة 30 يناير غیر أن ذلك لم يكن القصد من وراء ھذا الكتاب ؛ فالكتاب كما يصفه عنوانه الفرنسي \"نظرة تشريحیة للثورة\" وكما أسمیناه \"میلاد ثورة\" قراءة في مقدماتھا ورصد لأحداثھا)
