زدت اقتناعا بأهمية ترجمة هذا الكتاب وتقديمه لقارئ العربية بعد لقائى مع مؤلفه، ليس فقط لما فيه من آراء وأفكار أرى فيها صوابا، ولكن للآراء والأفكار الأخرى التى وردت به وأراها جديرة بالاختلاف معها. ولا يأتى هذا الكتاب بآراء ومقترحات فقط، بل يأخذك فى سياحة مصحوبا بمرشد مطلع قريب من دوائر اتخاذ القرار وصنعه فى العواصم الآسيوية، ويدلك على أسباب التطور والنهضة التى تشهدها بلدان آسيوية بحجم الصين والهند المرشحتين منذ فترة لتقدم ركب الاقتصاد العالمى. محمود محيى الدين.
