يحكى المؤلف في كتابه حكاية كلمة طظ التركية الأصل والتي تعنى ملح الطعام حيث بدأ شيوع هذه الكلمة في عهد المماليك الذين كانوا يفرضون الضرائب على السلع التي يمر بها الناس من منطقة نفوذ إلى منطقة نفوذ ممكلوكة لمملوك آخر ويعتبر الملح \"طظ\" هو السلعة الوحيدة المعفاة من الضرائب وتتخلل السخرية كامل مساحة الكتاب حيث يبدأه بمقولات منها \"كتاب ربما تكرهه النساء ويتعاطف معه الرجال\" منتقلا إلى الفصل رقم \"زيرو\" الذى يحمل عنوان \"مطرح مايسرى يمرى\" يشير فيه إلى أنواع الكتابة من وجهة نظره.
