يعتبر النص الروائي إذا عالما فنيا وفكريا قادرا على توجيه فعل القراءة وذلك انطلاقا من محمولاته المعروضة في المحكي وأدواته الجمالية المتوسل بها في بناء النص وهو ما يعني أن قراءة النص الروائي بمدونة مفاهيمية منهجية مسبقة قد تلحق ضررا به وتفضي إلى التعسف على دلالاته ولهذا فكل نص أدبي ومنه النص الروائي يستدعي مقاربة منهجية خاصة به مع ما تحمله هذه المقاربة من طابع ذاتي لا يخلو أحيانا من تعسف.
